The database gives homeowners the ability to find and compare like products and materials throughout the construction process from “idea to completion”. The app also gives the user the ability to sort product manufacturers who have green product offerings.
In today’s “internet of things” it is still quite difficult to find relevant information about the latest building products. A quick internet search can provide some options but by no means all of the information needed to make a decision and a proper selection. Without a reliable source that curates companies and their products, and cuts through the hype and provides information that helps in the product selection process, building professionals and owners are left to their own devices or must depend on the contractors hired to do their project.
